Gianni A. Sarcone is an author, inventor, illustrator, art and puzzle designer with more than twenty years of experience in the fields of visual creativity, recreational mathematics and educational games.

He specializes in teaching and developing:
Visual perception and optical illusions

Creativity enhancement

His feature articles on educational topics, creative thinking and brain games are published and syndicated in magazines, newspapers and books.

He conducts training workshops that enhance and challenge the mind of youngsters and adults alike.

Considered a leading authority on visual perception by academic institutions, Sarcone was a juror at the Third Annual “Best Visual Illusion of the Year Contest” held in Sarasota, Florida (USA).

Personal Statement

It was the French writer Anatole France who said “Awaken people’s curiosity. It is enough to open minds, do not overload them… Put there just a spark!” who inspired me.

As an author, columnist and researcher in the field of visual perception and creative thinking, I like to combine art, psychology, cognitive sciences and recreational mathematics to test young and old children’s ingenuity.

I know by experience people enjoy counterintuitive or paradoxical surprises.
