Featherstone Education was started in the UK in 1993 by Sally and Phill Featherstone. For the first five years we specialised in training and consultancy for schools, higher education and local authorities in England, and Wales, and in school inspections for OFSTED. We began publishing in 1998, and although we still provide training and consultancy, this now makes up the bulk of our business. The company became limited in 1999. Our aim is to provide the very best in terms of products and services for all our customers. Our writers are all former or practising teachers or advisers, and have a sound knowledge of children and of what works in the classroom.
