	Martine said: Woodson develops a strong voice for these characters. I feel it could have been continued to a fourth act. The "spirit-colored" idea of race and Jesus was quite funny and Frannie came off as a gentle girl who I'd love to hear more from. The development of Frannie's brother Sean was well done and the sign language imagery was strong. "Hope is a thing with feathers that perchs in the soul..." is one of my favorite poems and the sentiment was carried well in the story. Again my only criticism is that it could have been slightly longer. tags: I read
