CLeeMcK said: While this is not a story for children,it is a story told through children's eyes. It is an excellent book for learning about the power of point of view. At all times the reader is fully aware of the horrors taking place in the infamous German prison camp, but seeing these events as a young person tries to understand them heightens the terror and at the same time makes the story extremely poignant.
