Klawitter said: Enchanting, charming, and greatly enhanced by Wendy's own whimsical paintings...this is a wonderful book of poems for children of "all inconceivable ages."
Excerpt:
Sometimes
Sometimes I laugh at the wrong times.
I weep at the drop of a hat.
I've got a diamond up my sleeve,
and I'm striped as an alley cat.
My heart is a thing that comes unhinged,
and I can be blind as a bat.
I'm big as a moon inside my head
and almost as small as a gnat.
I'm told that I am not alone,
and others feel like that. |
