I love the fact that the grandparents in this book have to travel by plane to visit. I am able to introduce the idea of family and long-distance loved ones to my son as we bring out the book before his own grandparents visit (or vice versa). Explaining how different grandparents can be (""Some are young; others are very old. Some have beards; others don't have much hair at all."") as well as touching on the fact that some of us no longer have grandparents that are living (""Some grandparents we rarely see and some we never see."") this book makes for an excellent gift ""for ""all children who are lucky enough to have grandparents and for all grandparents who are lucky enough to have grandchildren."""
