Collins’ book teaches children the proper way to get help when they get lost. The book can open a discussion with kids to prepare for the possibility of getting lost and the actions to take. The academic activities section at the back of the book include: memory game, flashcard game, discussion questions, quiz questions, and creative fun. Jack Fosters endearing illustrations of two wide eyed kids tugs at the heart strings and made me fall in love with Kim and Amy. Janet Collins succeeds in writing an entertaining and educational book. The two collaborated and created a memorable and useful tale. I highly recommend Signs of Trouble.
