Mr. Rob’s first grade classroom gave this book an overall rating of 5 fingers, which means we want a copy in our school library, classroom library, home library and would definitely recommend this book to others. These at time picky book critiques loved this book for its humor (word choice) and illustrations. The comic book format makes this book great for beginning readers and appeals to both girls and boys. Suggestions they had included add more pages, the story concept was engaging and entertaining that they didn’t want it to end. Also they recommended including more text/characters talking and would have liked to see more play with words: like “eggsactly” or “eggxtremely great brother”.
Overall it’s a great read and we can’t wait to get our hands on an actual copy.
