In her cookbook, T. Vidal presents Lory and MazelTM, two adorable mice who guide children step-by-step through each recipe, captivating children’s imagination by creatively introducing them to new flavors using a variety of ingredients. “My House Chef” takes the kitchen beyond traditional, into a magical world where universal values, creativity, fine motor skills, and so much more are developed through fun family activities.
With a collection of 57 recipes, “My House Chef” is presented in colorful illustrations and nutritional information related to healthy eating. On July 15, 2009, “My House Chef” was released. The young author has had a strong presence and impact on television, radio, magazines and newspapers, to name a few, The New York Times, ABC News California and Telemundo 33. Three short months after publication, T. Vidal had her first national interview as a special guest on the Hispanic Television Network. Additionally, the author begins hosting her own radio show, via Voice America this 4th of December.
“My House Chef” will publish its’ Second Edition on Hardcover the first weeks in December 2009 at a lower competitive price, available through booksellers nationwide, including online retailers. T. Vidal is making available ten of her recipes, illustrations and images for publication in newspapers and magazines throughout the country.
