Vince said: Raymond Booth is an amazing painter of plants, flowers, animals and landscapes. His work is incredibly detailed and beautifully composed. His work also has a wonderful sense of drama. Rather than just presenting a dry, scientific look at a botanical specimen or animal, he places his subjects within a scene portraying either a natural habitat, a garden or landscape. There is often a feeling of drama or expectation in his work, as if his subjects are waiting for something to unfold. I look at this book over and over again to gain inspiration and to wallow in its beauty.
