Ah yes! I came across the series through surfthechannel.com. It's made in England. I watched the first two eps - it seemed quite strange to me. Maybe I had better read the book. I love the cover illustrations.

Definitely give it a try. The cover is what snagged me! Actually, it snagged my friend and she passed the book my way. Thanks for the info. I'm going to search for eps out of sheer curiosity.
