LJMichaels said: Four siblings find themselves abandoned in a mall parking lot far from home. Overwhelmed and distraught, thier mother walked away, leaving them halfway to their destinantion with only seven dollars, a bag of peanut butter sandwiches, and a map. Determined to stay together and armed with the hope that somehow she will miraculously be waiting for them at thier journeys end, they set out on foot, traveling the backroads of Connecticut. The beauty of this story is not in what's written. It resides in words unspoken. The author has found a way to show us the feelings that run deep in her characters, through the twist of a mouth, the silence of dissapointment, and the courage it takes to put others before one's self. I will never forget the Tillerman's, and I will be passing thier story on to all the courageous children in my life!
