I'm not usually a Vampire reading person, but I really enjoyed what this book had to offer. Murder, mystery, and intrigue all very wonderfully crafted attention getters. I couldn't put this book down. Set in Texas where I was born and raised was also a nice experience for me and throw in a little Italian food with that, I was hooked. Then there's the vampires who were very realisticly written. I really liked going on this journey with the main character Quincie Morris. Her character was believable and certainly quirky. I would read this novel again and again. Can't wait to read book 2!!
