Darby Creek Publishing is a children's book publisher, dedicated to creating high-quality hardcover and paperbackbooks that kids want to read. We are interested in projects that are unique and that stand out from other works in the same category, both in writing style, content, and illustration/design. DCP is especially interested in seeing nonfiction works for ages 8 to 14, with themes that relate to sports, science, history, or biography. These projects should be unlike others on the market in some distinctive way and should have solid research behind them. DCP is also interested in high-quality fiction: from early chapter books through mature young adult.
