Cultural Connections

We have bilingual books, games, and other products in over 38 languages. These bilingual materials are appropriate for foreign language instruction, English as a Second Language (ESL), as well as bilingual and immersion classes. We have instructional materials in the following languages: Arabic, Cambodian, Cantonese, Chamorro, English Immersion, Farsi, French, German, Hawaiian, Hmong, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Mandarin, Mien, Navajo, Portuguese (Euro), Punjabi, Russian, Samoan, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tongan and Vietnamese. Established in 1982 by a consortium of educators, Cultural Connections strives to offer cultural and language materials to enhance global education. Cultural Bridges Educational Programs Cultural Bridges is a non-profit 501C3 educational program dedicated to building bridges of understanding among the diverse cultures of our communities via languages and the arts. We are available for school assemblies and workshops in the following counties of California: Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Joaquin.

Specifically interested in books with these subjects or themes: children fiction and non-fiction in many languages including poster kits, picture dictionaries and games (multicultural experiences, basic words, basic numeracy)
