Courte Echelle

Courte Echelle is 30 years old with more than 650 active titles. Shortly after its arrival on the scene of literature, Courte Echelle has positioned itself as a leader in children's literature in the francophone world. At its inception, Courte Echelle published books for three to six years, then to "grow" with its audience, it began to publish novels for young people. In 1995, the short scale has opened an adult collection, without losing sight of its primary vocation. Today, the generation that began to read at the end of 1970 with Courte Echelle to discover its children's publications youth in Quebec. Courte Echelle promotes authors from here and assists them in their process of creation, and ensures that their works are disseminated to the widest possible audience. Courte Echelle is proud of the international recognition accorded to it by all the prizes won by the number of translated titles. More than 300 titles have been translated, including several in 7 or 8 languages. The books of Courte Echelle are published throughout the world in 20 languages.
