Chad Solomon is a member of the Henvey Inlet, Ojibway First Nation in Ontario, Canada. As a sequential artist I have been working in the field since 2002.As a child, my family and I would visit with my late grandparents in the French River, Ontario, Canada. My grandfather Art Solomon a Traditional Healer and Justice Activist would spend his time building wooden toys and playing with me and my siblings. Even in winter he would go tobogganing with us. Learning from my grandfather, no matter how old I become, I should always be young-at-heart and that laughter is the Greatest Medicine. With this mind I created the company Little Spirit Bear Productions that publishes the humorous adventure comic strip RABBIT and BEAR PAWS.Rabbit and Bear Paws is set in colonized 18 th Century North America. We follow the story of two mischievous Ojibwa brothers as they play pranks and have amazing adventures using a traditional Ojibwa medicine that transforms them into animals for a short time.The creation of Rabbit and Bear Paws is a team effort of Chad Solomon, Christopher Meyer and aboriginal community Elders who help guide me in the creation of all stories relating to Rabbit and Bear Paws.
