About Ann
When I'm not being a school librarian, I write picture books for children and the occasional essay, poem, or article for adults. I've lived in Willow, Alaska for 26 years now. Besides reading and writing, I like to garden, cross-country ski, go for long walks, and practice speaking Swedish.

Oh, Ann. Sorry to clog your blog, but did I meet you when I was at the elementary in Willow with Anne Clausen?

Hi Ann -- yes, the Whidbey conference is great. Come! The closest SCBWI chapter is in Seattle, but we have a couple critique groups in the area, and there's always room for more. We love Alaska -- had friends in the Seward Peninsula. Still have a cousin in North Pole.

Hi Ann, Your books look beautiful! I’d like to invite you to visit my website http://marciecooper.tateauthor.com. My children’s book “Meet the Teens” helps teach kids the teen numbers and might be something you’d like to add to your library.
