Bonjour! I'm from Paris (the one in France, not Kentucky!), came to Barnard and Columbia to study Medieval and Renaissance lit, and stayed. I've published six historical novels (for adults) listed on my website www.writehigh.com, and one nonfiction book with my late husband, a Soviet defector. Now I'm married to the coolest criminal defense lawyer, and our two cats, our 4,000 books and we live in Beverly Hills, CA, where I have a literary agency with my BFF (best friend for life), Susan Chin. In New York, we have a small office where Peter Jaeger, who keeps me sane, interfaces with the editors we ladies visit and speak with and work with for our clients by phone (and sometimes, we get ont he plane and visit in the flesh)-- only he does it "hoofing it" daily. I love children's lit and represent a number of lovely writers and authors of your genre, from those who write and illustrate for the very young to Kimberly Greene, who writes for middle-grade and Y/A. We also represent the fantasy Y/A genre. I have two grandchildren, still young, who tell me what they like.
