I have written two YA novels of suspense, a MG humorous mystery, an early chapter book, and several PBs, articles, and more than a few poems.Currently, I'm busy revising a YA.I live with two really handsome fellows, but of course, they are furry.

Sometimes I begin a new chapter with thoughts of the direction I want to take and write a paragraph or two, and then all of a sudden my characters take over and go in a whole different direction, as though they are writing the book. Happens quite often, actually.

I finished Part One today. I'm thrilled. I think It Must Have Been Love will have 3 parts. I'm 1/3 there. At just a little over 31,000 words now. Think I will celebrate.

I'm at that place now where my plot has come together, [[in my mind, at least.]] I have to say, it took a surprising fork in the road that I didn't even suspect. I'm so happy with it. Now to get it on paper...

I'm moving right along with It Must Have Been Love. I'm at 24,000 words. My goal is 75,000, so a thousand more and I'll be 1/3 there. The book has taken a few twists that I didn't expect.

I didn't get up until 10:00 this morning. That's because I didn't go to sleep until after 7:00. I worried all night about the predicament of four young girls.
