Hi. Thanks for visiting. I am currently writing several children's picture books, most of which are in verse. I love a good rhyming book. I am married with three children, a boy, age 7 and twin girls, age 6. I hold a BSME from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Yes, it was very education oriented, fine for me. There were a few publishers that had poetry and rhyming stuff, maybe 3 or 4. So, I don't think you missed anything.
I had a great time...Charlesbridge, McGraw-Hill, Houghton, Mifflin, Brace and some that I had never heard of.

Thanks for your thoughts and encouragement! I definitely don't need to use the word career in the books. I just used that in the idea exercise because that is one of Enslow's categories. I'm proposing to combine Biography (another Enslow catagory) and careers. You're right there are many ... more
