About Stephanie
I am in the process of writing a second book. My first book is narrative nonfiction and focuses on the young adult age group.
"What I Should Have Said Out Loud" is a true story of the lives of two teens. It discusses how they met, what peer pressures they experienced throughout their adolescent lives and what they themselves experimented with. One of the teens is haunted by the image of his father's death and battles with depression his entire life. The story ends with his suicide.
This is an important story for teens and young adults to experience. The main characters in the book offer a duality that makes the story itself relative to all teens. Suicide is an unfortunate epidemic that is becoming more common with each generation. This topic needs to be addressed first hand for believability.
