Hello from sunny California! I've been writing for approximately eight years now - mostly poetry - mostly Christian. Can't put the pen down - so much to say - so little time. I love to write. I've written six Chap books - working on the seventh. From the six small self-published chapbooks I neatly pulled the best of the best (so as not to tear the poems into little, tiny pieces) and made one good book which I submitted to many, many publishers before I finally got someone to listen. So..........if you're a writer, please DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE. Someone out there is listening and sooner or later - who knows?
Of course, I haven't made a dime yet, but at least my book is out there, and I'm hoping to sell a million or so copies (LOL). Writers are lovely people, although I often find that we're broke, as well, but we can't quit writing no matter what. Maybe it's like a plague or something. I don't really know, but I'm glad I've caught the "bug". Keep writing!
