Welcome to the site if you are new. I am new and just finding my way around. I am trying to let people know who I am and trying to get to know other members. I hope we can be good freinds!
I recently have a new children's book coming out this November called "Sadie the Skunk." It’s about a little skunk who thinks she is a black cat until one day she discovers she looks different from the rest of her family and finds out she is not a cat and wants to find out what she is. She ends up finding Mr. Groundhog who thinks she is a beaver, then a sparrow and so on until Sadie gets so upset she poofs out a cloud of smog which lets Mr. Groundhog know what she is. Then she is taken to her real family. Hey Mary, just got off work and I'm pooped, sounds like we never have time for much of anything. Once I get things squared away with my publisher, I'm gonna breathe a little, maybe take a day off. Monday I'm going with my neice and the little ones and spend a couple of hours at the park for a picnic, then back to house for the same ole grind.

Good to hear from you. The tea rooms are wonderful and elegant. The deserts are out of this world. If I had a restaurant, it would be a tea room.

I am a backup cook. my job is to make the biscuits and cornbread, dumplings, mix the hash brown cassarole and bake the bacon for the next morning. I help the other backup cook when needed to do the kettle cooking making the side dishes for the line cooks and for the grill cooks, prepare the meats, such as baking the roast beef, meatoafs, the daily specials. As a prep cook, I make the various salads, bake the desserts (I love the coke cake) and prep veggies for the next morning. I'm also multitask in the past as a dishwasher, server, and server assistant. I can step in when needed.

I've written a children's chapter book entitled "THE HIDDEN TREASURE" It is going to be a series of mystery's for my character to solve, which should be out in 2 months.

I would like to introduce you to Annie

ARRGH! Avast ye scurvy scallywags, thare be treasure laden for many a fortnight. BEWARE! Many sought and be as a broken soul, others be with Davy Jones locker.

Annie is the Great-Great-Great niece of the notorious Captain Van Blood. She knows there’s a hidden treasure omewhere on the farm, and needs to overcome obstacles, fears, and devises a plan to outsmart a devious family member.

As long as Annie can remember, she’s dreamed of solving a mystery. She read books, watched old black and white movies, helping the detective solve the case in triumph. When she’s given the biggest mystery of all, she is flabbergasted. The excitement of the search escalates when she receives her
first clue to solve the case of “The Hidden Family Treasure.”
