Emily - I just signed up on Jacketflap, clicked on a couple of names one that was yours and see Franklin, Ohio. My mother Joan Leroy grew up there living in a house on the street right across form the river. I still remember the lions guarding the bridge and what seemed to me to be the humongous banks of the river and making flower chains with my Gramma. Visiting about 10 years ago the scale was much smaller! The family sold the house in the 1960's but my grandparents are buried in the local cemetary - a windswept desolate Nov. is my last memory there.While I'll probably never make it back, the town resides in my childhood memories!
