I agree. I have a whole folder full of ideas such as the tomato one. Probably never develop into anything, but you never know. I am working on a book about bullying, now.

Today I was picking little tomatoes, (the vines have just about had it) and as I was choosing which ones to pick, I was thinking about a story line, centered around a rejected tomato. I don't think it will go any further, but I'm always doing that. I know, "Get a life!" That's the way I like it thou... more

I belong to SCBWI and have a critique group through them. We meet once a month and have a good time helping each other. One of the members lives near me so we get together fairly often and talk kid's books. My Nov. PB is about a dream catcher and tells how to make one. It is fiction, though. I'd lik... more
