Tony Thompson has just moved from sunny California to a spooky old castle in Scotland, and he's miserable. The weather is damp, he has no one to play with, and he keeps having nightmares about vampires. Then, amazingly, his dreams become reality when he meets Rudolph. Sure, Rudolph is a little pale, but that's because even though he looks nine, he's really hundreds of years old -- and a vampire!

Soon Rudolph has Tony flying through the starry skies, creeping through graveyards, and bouncing on top of a blimp. But the fun doesn't last long. A vampire hunter named Rookery is on Rudolph's trail -- out to get Rudolph's whole family. Even worse, Rookery wants to capture the Stone of Attamon, a magic jewel that has the power to turn vampires back into humans. The chase is on, and the boys are sinking their teeth into the adventure of a lifetime!
