I have been working in the retail grocery industry now for 40 years, and have also had a 35 year career in endurance sports, including entering 14 Ironman triathlons. My first one was in Kona, Hawaii in 1984.

I have always wanted to write and have just published my third book.

The first one is called "Ironstruck...The Ironman Triathlon Journey," and was written to motivate and inspire people to take up the Ironman triathlon challenge. Currently, triathlon is one of the fastest growing endurance events in the world.

I also created Ironstruck.ca as a free resource where people can visit for suggestions, tips, motivation, and support. I have a contact page on my site and since the beginning I've made it a point of answering every single e-mail question I happen to get concerning the Ironman. There have been a lot as on an average month my site will have visitors from 55 countries or so.

I was getting so many questions that I was inspired to write the first Q+A book(that I am aware of) in the world dealing with the Ironman Triathlon.

"Ironstruck? 500 Ironman Triathlon Questions and Answers" like it's predecessor is doing quite well in the triathlon niche.

Both books are currently selling online with Amazon, Borders, Barnes and Noble, and many other sites that have picked them up.

In the past few months I wrote "Lifestruck" for young adults. It's a book that is meant to inspire the youth of today to develop a healthier lifestyle by making better food choices and incorporating fitness into their lives.

The combination of a long career in athletics that prompted me to search out the healthiest food choices for optimum physical performance, and many years in the food industry provided me with quite a lot on knowledge to pass on to school-age kids.

My goal is to try and have copies of Lifestruck in as many school libraries as I can through-out North America as I think it can be very helpful to young adults.

JacketFlap seems like a great place to meet people who might have some suggestions about how I can market the book as marketing is not my strong suit.
