I lived for 6 years amid the coyotes and the creosotes in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, but after a sudden job change and three moves in one year, have landed in Surprise AZ!

I worked for three years as a volunteer story time coordinator in rural Wickenburg, Arizona, where I got to feed my passion for children's literature while sharing my favorite stories with the wonderful local children.

I've been granted a "do over" and am parenting two toddlers and a preteen. I love telling stories to my children and twisting them into new versions of familiar tales. I'm a former professional technical writer and a busy parent.
