About Theodocia
Theodocia (Teddy) Swecker, CW2 lives in Winnemucca, Nevada with her husband, Steve and their three dogs, Aspen, Sanger and Phoebe. They have three children, Rick, Nikki, and Mackenzie and seven grandchildren.
She received her BA in Fine Art at the University of Nevada, Reno along with a secondary teaching certificate in art (K-12).
She has been an art instructor, writer and painter for 30 years. She does school visits in elementary, middle school and high school levels and presents writing and drawing seminars to teachers.
She is the illustrator of three books; Mommi Watta, Spirit of the River written by Virginia Castleman, Children In Distress, an art therapy book for medical students written by Linda Whitney Peterson and Milton Edward Hardin and her third is a children’s book, Ducks Ducks, which she wrote, illustrated and published.
She and her creative partner, Paul Reynolds, have established a new company, called “Spill the Magic.” Together they are ready to send off a series of how to draw and paint books for kids 9yrs. To 14yrs..
