Hi,

My name is Sheryl Letzgus McGinnis (but my friends call me Sherry). I'm the author of 3 books on addiction. I am married with one living son,having lost my youngest son to the disease of addiction. We live in Palm Bay, Florida and are owned by one beautiful big black lab and 4 spoiled rotten cats.

It is my third book, my first children's book, that brings me here. This book is The Addiction Monster and the Square Cat. It's geared toward 5th and 6th graders and up. The story is about a young man's long struggle with addiction and his ultimate death. It is told with humor and pathos by the family cat.

It's told in a kid-friendly way that is not gory but it delivers an educational message that packs a powerful punch.

Currently it is on 3 of Amazon.com's Best Sellers Lists.

My goal is to get this book into the school systems throughout the country. The reviews have been excellent and I'm hoping to get more coverage for this book by joining your group.
