I am a Single Parent with an Authistic child, residing in Sri Lanka.

(I have created a book that contains my stories and it can be reviewed on Lulu.com under A Treasury of Bedtime Stories)

From the age of 18, I worked as a Free Lance Writer at the Sunday Leader, one of Sri lanka's National Newspapers. Later, went onto Features Journalism. After a few years, I underwent a training programe for 3 months at The Romford Recorder Essex (UK) under the then Editor, Barry Kirk. (Reported for the Sunday Leader while in UK) Wrote an article on the Mas-O-Rama Carnival together with Barry Kirk.

At the time of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka, I reported and did two articles on the aftermath of the tsunami, for the Romford Recorder. On leaving the Sunday Leader, I joined UCAN NEWS (An International Catholic Website) and for a period of 5 years, reported from Sri Lanka.

Currently, working from home, doing blog site designs and online projects. I Love to write stories for children but only recently decided to send the Manuscript for hopeful publication abroad. Stories completed, The Magic Treasure Chest & other stories. The Flying Unicorn and other stories.

Hoping for a positive breakthrough in the collection of Children's stories.
