Persis Granger (known by most as "Perky") is the author of "Adirondack Gold" and "Adirondack Gold II: A Summer of Strangers." Both books are historical fiction set in the 1890s in the little Adirondack Mountain town of Thurman, NY. Perky is active in the John Thurman Historical Society and other community activities.
