The biggest inspiration I have to write is simply everything! If I had to pick my favorite- it would be music. I believe in writing straight from my heart and evoking the reader to feel something that they have never felt before and music gives me the springboard to dive into my life and others. I have been writing for many years and it is the one thing that never seems to leave me when I am dissatisfied in what I'm doing. Writing is pure and it defines my soul. I believe in the simplicity of writing despite the complexity of the thought. If my intent was to make the reader evoke a feeling of deep thought, to laugh or cry, I have done my job, but if I do all these things and the reader returns, I am validated as a writer. I love words and what can be created with them-bringing to life my thoughts and feelings and more importantly, taking the thought and feelings of others and writing about them when words have yet to be spoken. To see your audience connect with your intent - that's incredible! I believe that your style should be a reflection of what lies within and who you truly are. There and only there do you find the trueness for your gift to write.
