Most of my life I was an active artist.
My inspiration to paint comes from a love of the outdoors and animals, or from stories to be illustrated. Every painting has a story to tell. I invite the viewer of my work to experience a sense of harmony and contentment and an appreciation of the natural world that often goes unnoticed in our busy lives.
I have participated in various
art shows in Ontario, Quebec, France and Romania.

I have illustrated several children’s books, book covers and magazines.
I have been a cartoonist and a writer for several newspapers and I had paintings displayed in various art galleries such as: Ottawa Art Gallery
(Ottawa),Christine Gallery (Toronto), Praxis Gallery (Toronto),
La Gallerie de Saint Alban De Roche (France).
Occasionally I’ve sold watercolours on EBay.
In 1986 I taught technical drawing at a High School in Romania.
In 1994 and 1995 I taught watercolour classes (adults) in Dorval, Quebec.
From 2004 to present I have taught art classes to children in Kitchener, and Cambridge (Ontario)

I have won awards in different art contests and art shows.
Among the most important of them, I could enumerate:

1996 Ottawa -The President’s Award - The Ottawa Watercolour Society
1994 Pierrefonds, Quebec - Winner of Pierrefonds Art Contest
1993 Paris, France - The First National Prize - The Contest “Les
Plus Beaux Villages Du France“.
1992 Vienne, France - The Second Prize of “The Annual Vienne
Art Show“
1992 Cremieu, France - The Municipality’s Prize - The Contest
“Peintres En Libertee”.

I realized also several murals for private home-owners and artistic ceramic tiles installations (residential and commercial).
