I do love to write! I lots of poetry an some short stories. I have had some poetry published through poetry contests. But ive never had the opportunity or the privilege of having any of writing noticed. By anyone as great as a publisher. That would only be a dream for me. I spend some time writing. But, because , I have custody of my grandson. I spend most of my time working with him, teaching him &reinforcing what his teachers has taught him. He is 5years old an he is Autistic an very smart. I think if he progresses as great as I aspect him to. I aspect him to become a great writer one day. Because of love for all books. Since he learned to sit up. He would pick up any book including the phone book. Lol! An would sit an look it for hours. And carefully turn each page. As not to tare it. An if one got a small tare. He would cry for a long time. Until it was fixed. Ive always had a story time with all my kids at bedtime. An I do with him as well! We read all kinds at bedtime an every night. Just like my kids, he beats me to the room. With his choice of book. Which at Christmas is ( The gift of a Traveler) The writer has done a great job at keeping his attention which most of the time is difficult!
