Laverne is a English graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I have one more year and I will finally earn my degree. I am excited. I am most interested in moving to New York City and starting a career in publishing. My interest is in Children's Literature and Young Adult Literature. I write short stories. Hi Laverne, in answer to your question about the best way to get into the publishing world, it depends on what capacity you're talking about.
