I love picture books! I am an aspiring picture book illustrator and writer. Picture books provide an intimate space where the author and artist can whisper to the reader. I love to hold picture book close with a child in my arms and take in the beauty of the work. Someday I hope someone will hold their child close as the enjoy my creation.
