As a fine artist, graphic designer, illustrator and teacher, I have tried to stay true to my belief that we are on this beautiful blue planet to discover our gifts and give them to the world. I knew at a very young age that I was drawn to art and wanted to be an artist—it's from the wonderful encouragement from high school art teachers and my emotionally supportive grandmothers that I took the risk to follow my dreams and went to art school. I have never looked back.

This favorite quote from Carl G. Jung has helped me stay on track and I actually carry it around! "Proceed from the Dream Outward", is the underpinning I hold on to during those challenging times. We all know what those are!!!

I create gilded paintings of animals, nature, myths, folktales and Spirit. I illustrated a beautiful folktale, A Tale of Two Rice Birds for Sasquatch Books and became friends with a very special author, Clare Hodgson Meeker. I have shown my fine art in galleries and museums on both coasts, published artwork with Pomegranate Publishing and other magazines. I hope to create more children's books! I love them!

I moved from an urban life to one in the country to be closer to nature and to live here my three horses live on a verdant farm in the Pacific Northwest.
