Born in N.Y. raised in California. I have always loved to read, but art is my real passion! I have also had a dream to write and illustrate my own children's book. My mother-in-law and I have co-authored our first book about my father, a combat photographer during the Korean War. It was a story my father told to me since I was about 4 years old. Last month I appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show regarding the book I wrote and self-published. Oprah discusses the importance of teaching children to tell someone if they are being abused. Tell a parent, tell a teacher, tell a police officer.
