I'm primarily a used/rare bookseller, but love to write poetry and stories. I've completed a juvenile novel set in a used bookshop that I'm shopping to agents with high hopes. I'm a supporter of animal welfare and, when I had an open bookshop in Ohio, I fostered over 50 shelter cats in the shop until they found good homes. My novel parallels foster cats and a foster child, all in search of the love and care they so deserve. All told with humor and some excitement. This is the first of a planned series, all set in the same bookshop, but with a different child co-star for each novel.

I've had poems published in literary journals, a newspaper, and had a radio play I authored performed and broadcast. I love to play the piano, hunt for used books in flea markets, antique shops, thrift stores and the like, and I love my cats and dog. And husband. We live in a large, old school building crammed with books, records, and antiques.
