About Suzanne
I'm an American living in Shikoku. I wrote stories for children and young adults. My stories have appeared in magazines such as Ladybug, Cicada, and Skipping Stones, and in the anthology Summer Shorts (Blooming Tree Press, 2006). My first picture book, Playing for Papa, is just out from Topka Books in Spain and is illustrated by Yuka Hamano.

Like many of the best gaijin writers in Japan, Suzanne lives far from the big cities. We hope to see her at the Japan Writers Conference in Tokyo in October.
