I'm a writer who has written since I was in elementary school. I've written for small and large newspapers such as the Arlington Herald, Elmhurst Press, and Chicago Sun Times. I earned a master's in Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University, Chicago, and then set about writing and doing public relations for The National Hot Dog Council, Teepak, McDonald's, Honeywell, and Virginia Commonwealth University where I also was an adjunct professor.At the same time I also was doing online teaching for NorthCentral University in Arizona. Along the way I also wrote several children's books and adult manuals such as "Ideas to Sell More Sausage" and "Public Relations for Small Businesses" as well as about a hundred magazine articles on food. Also "Reggie the Goat," "Something Egg," George Gershwin, Composer, General Douglas MacArthur, Military Genius, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Crusader for Peace and Herbert Prochnow, Banker for Men of Achievement series for T.S. Dennison. Tut Tut! The last four are available as used books on Amazon.
This August 2015 I published "Spirit Dog" in paperback, for Kindle and Nook and available on Amazon. This has been my first retirement endeavor. It has brought such satisfaction writing as an indie that I'm now concentrating on writing more!
