It's been a long winding journey to say the least. I started out as a Merchant Seaman almost 30 years ago traveling around the world. After fifteen years in the Transportation field I changed paths to become a teacher. These past twelve years I've been working as a Social Studies teacher here on Long Island.

To date I've completed two courses with the Children's Institute located in Redding Connecticut. As such I've written two manuscripts, neither has been published yet. One is entitled the Weird, Creative and Brilliant weapons of World War II and the other is a picture book entitled Grandma is Sleeping in My Bed and its not Fair!

I feel that history is a collection of individual stories. Many of which are never told. Through my writing I hope to bring some of those stories to life not only for my students but for all to enjoy.
