Elisabeth Horan is a stay at home mom in Vermont, raising two young boys, feeding her animals and finally pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. She has just earned her MA in English and Creative Writing at age 41 from Southern New Hampshire University after an 18 year pause in her education. She is now pursuing her MFA at Lindenwood.

Elisabeth's poetry has recently appeared in The Feminist Wire, The Woman, Inc. and Lady. Literary Journal. She is the featured poet of the month for March, 2017 at Anti-Heroin Chic, and excerpts from her manuscript "Stay Mommy", will be the featured at Swimming With Elephants during May, 2017, in honor of National Postpartum Depression Awareness Day.
