A little about me; I am married & live in Johannesburg. I have three children of my own & two step sons. My own children have all emigrated to Oz & N.Z.
My interest in writing happened about three years ago. I had an idea & put pen to paper. This idea grew into two manuscripts which I aim to get published. This fantacy story for children (8-12 years) I aim to illustrating it myself.
Regarding my past: I grew up in a small town in S.A. where I went to school. I had my schooling in English & Afrikaans. After school I moved to Johannesburg to futher my studies. I studied Pre-school education & worked as a Pre- school teacher for many years.
Through my books I would love to teach children that there is merit in being kind, caring & gentle. I feel very strongly that we- humankind need to learn these qualities & use them. Maybe I 'm a dreamer but is that not where ideas are born?
