About Jeanne
I loved reading books to my young son, so when I realized that he hated reading, I was astonished! Soon I realized that his literacy problems were due to dyslexia. When I couldn't find any children's books on that topic, I decided to write one, and the Library of Congress created a category just for The Don't-give-up Kid.
