I work as a counselor in the Byron-Bergen school district. As a counselor, I've worked with kids of all ages for over 20 years in schools and mental health centers. As an artist, my work has been published in the U.S., the U.K., Australia and Canada.
My character, Vito the Pig, developed while entertaining kids in classrooms, long walks, and car rides. The story Vito and the Magic Bread naturally followed, and was a big hit with teachers and children as soon as they read it. The sequel- Vito and the Mudmen from Guinea Pig Island- is also becoming a hit!
These days, I spend my time drawing and painting incessantly, playing guitar, and writing new Vito the Pig adventures!
