R has always loved children’s books. Even in primary school, she would be the only student sitting in the library at recess time, with her nose stuck in a good book!
Amongst her favourite authors, were Roald Dahl (the BFG and Matilda) and Paul Jennings (unreal, Unbearable & Unbelieveable ).
It wasn’t just the stories that drew her to reading tho. The illustrations inspired her to open up her creative side, and she would spend hours doodling away and making stories to go along with the pictures.


She also enjoys reading out loud, getting into the character and reading with enthusiasm, keeping her audience enthralled until the very end of the story, and leaving them wanting more!!!
One day, R hopes to write and illustrate books of her own, so that she can encourage other children to read and enjoy reading as much as she does!
