Currently a teacher consultant at James Madison University, I still enjoy being called Lynne the Librarian. I’m the author of the "Magical Library Lessons Series" and "From Snicket to Shakespeare", published by Upstart Books and "Fantastic Social Studies Lessons Using Literature", published by Pieces of Learning. Always on lookout for great new children’s books, I love visiting book fairs and libraries. An avid reader, I’m not embarrassed to reveal that I have not read an adult book in months because with the quality and diversity of literature for young people I know I’m missing very little.
